What a Ride it Has Been

Well guys the school year is ending and that means it is time to reflect on my blog this year. It's crazy that I have only had this blog for one school year because it seems like it's been forever. I have had so much fun learning the ways of a blogger. I also have learned a lot about myself! I learned my style of writing. I learned that writing a blog can actually be fun. I will hopefully continue this blog during the summer. It will be hard because I will be gone a lot of the time, but I think it would be fun to keep in touch with all you guys. From my first blog to this last one, many things have changed. The only thing that hasn't changed is my passion for the sport. My writing has improved and I can really see the difference.

Thank You all So Much!!! Courtesy of Immunology for the Image

Whether my blog continues or not, there is one thing that we can all count on. That is the fact that baseball doesn't stop and it will be going on all summer and even next year, and the year after that. I know that all of you out there will be watching your favorite teams, hoping that something good happens and your team makes it into the playoffs and then even wins the World Series. Well guys, I want to let you know that won't happen unless you are an Angels fan because that is the team that is winning it all this year.

I hope that you guys have enjoyed reading my lame blog posts. I have had a ton of fun writing them and keeping up with the baseball world. Keep in touch with me! If you have any questions or want to contact me you can reach me by emailing me at ndavis18@pcstudents.us. It has been a fun year guys and I loved sharing it with you guys. Until next time!!!!!

Thanks to Everyone, Where will this be Going?

This year I have started blogging. I have officially been blogging for almost a full school year. It has been a fun experience meeting others that have the same interests that I do. I would like to thank everyone that has read my posts, even if you haven't commented or followed my blog. I really do appreciate it! I know that my posts aren't the best, but I enjoy writing them for you guys. Reflecting on everything that has happened while writing and reading this blog, I have had a great time, and you guys only make it better. Writing for myself is fun, but knowing that other people are actually reading what I am writing, that is mind blowing. Honestly, I never thought that my blog would go anywhere. Hoping for maybe like 10 views or something. I am amazed at where it has gotten and I encourage you all to start your own blogs. Let me know if you do and I'll be sure to try and help you out and even follow you!

One thing that I would like to get more involved in is getting more followers. I don't have many, but if you guys like my posts, make sure to follow. I have realized that not only having a blog is fun, but it is something that I can go to when I want to get away from things for a while. I have evolved a lot from the beginning of the year. At the start of this quarter I set down a lot of goals. I have realized that the number of page views I have doesn't really matter. Creating a blog has been awesome! It is something new that I have gotten absorbed in. I get to ramble on about baseball and things that are happening and I don't have to feel bad about doing it.

I need both! Thanks to Cafe Press for this one!

I used to only write posts because I had to or because I wanted a good grade. Now, it's more than that! I hope you guys have seen that improvement. As I mentioned earlier, I will continue to analyze teams with my own spin on things if you guys like it. If not, don't be cautious about letting me know and telling me to stop because it is boring. I am writing this not only for myself, but also for you guys! Knowing what to write about can be challenging. I don't want to bore you all out there. Are you guys liking what I'm doing or not?!? I never know! If you would like me to do something make sure to leave a comment and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks, hope you all have a good night!

The Angels Are The Best

A couple people have asked me about who my favorite team is. And to that I honestly have to say it's the Angels. My whole childhood has been about them. Ever since I was 8 me and my dad would go to almost every home game and enjoy the games. The Angels have been through rough patches and some high points. For me, it's always fun to watch the Angels. Their offense is hot with Mike Trout leading the way, and their defense is on point. One thing I have to say, is that I am very sad that Howie Kendrick was traded. This was devastating because Erick and Howie were the best combination for middle infielders. What was the Angels manager thinking, I have no idea!

Thanks to Bloguin for this sweet picture of Erick Aybar

This isn't to say that I don't like any other team because that isn't true either. I know I give loads of crap to the Cubs but I don't truly mean any of it or most of it at least. The Angels stadium was 10-20 minutes from my house. What are your guys' favorite teams? If you would like me to talk about them I could! I will let you know what I think about them and why. The first time I ever went to an Angels game I loved it. I wanted to go everyday so watch Vladimir Guerro jog the bases because he nailed a homer. Or when fireworks went off when a terrible singer was singing the national anthem. Every part of the baseball game was fun and interesting to me.

Thanks to Cedar Rapids for this nice pic

One of my goals is to really connect with you guys (the readers). I know it takes time for people to actually start reading my posts, but I'm happy with a couple of local viewers. You all should leave a comment and let me know what you want me to post about. I know I started analyzing each team, but that gets too repetitive. I will still continue it here and there but I won't be posting daily about it! I hope you all enjoyed learning a little more about my life!

Once again thanks for asking me this question! Guys don't be afraid to ask me something or leave me a comment, it would be much appreciated! I enjoy getting to know you guys. This was so much fun to write because not only is it the first time someone has asked me to post about something. It is so cool that I get to interact with you guys. Until next time, GO ANGELS!

Is it Spring Training Yet?

Well as everyone knows now, the baseball season is over. It was a super fun season to watch. Underdogs team succeeded and most "popular" teams didn't prosper. I am so sad as many of you probably are, that we won't be seeing baseball for a while. I for one am looking forward to spring training even though it isn't that close. For me, a world without baseball isn't a good world. That may seem dramatic, but nah.

One of the major reasons I am excited for the off season and spring training, is because of all of the free agents. It's nice to see veterans stick to their teams for a career, but when does that happen? I think it's also nice when things switch around a bit because it keeps you on your toes. This year especially, there are so many different free agents, who knows where things will go. Even though I'd always like to see the Angels win a World Series Title, I would find it nice and refreshing if an underdog team like the Astros, really come out to play this year.

It's fun to see teams thrive after a long history of failure. Not singling out teams, but sorry Cubs fans, you guys haven't won for about 100 years? I know everyone has their bad decades but I think it would be cool to see the Cubs went somewhere this year. Not even my parents have been alive for 100 years. I mean, it's a pretty long time.

I am sorry that I haven't posted in a while, but things have been busy in my life. Between crying for a couple weeks that the Giants won the World Series and school, it's been a busy life. I will try to get back to posting at least once a week updating everyone on the trades that are currently happening, and what to look forward to this upcoming season. Along with my predictions that actually never end up coming true.
